Awards

Carl Burton was honored with the "Outstanding Graduating Senior in Art & Design" by the University for his creative production "The Art of Simon Fischer". For more details, see Image of the Week - May 20, 2003.

Megan Gillette, Graphic Artists with ITG was recently awarded the "President's Award of Excellence" from Parkland College, where she finished her degree.

"Improving the positional accuracy of the goniometer on the Philips CM-200 TEM" by Jim Pulokas et al. presented at Microscopy and Microanalysis 99 ( p.348) has been selected for the 1999 Macres Award for best paper from the Microbeam Analysis Society.
