Metal Printing at Nanoscale Made Easy by Solid Ionic Stamping
Media Details
Created 3/13/2007
This SEM image shows alphabets created using a novel metal patterning technique that is currently under development in Professor Nicholas Fang's group at MechSE. The technique involves solid-state electrochemical dissolution-based subtractive nanopatterning. Each of the alphabets in this image is approximately 1.8 x 1.5 micrometers in overall height and width, and the line width of the letters is about 200 nm.
